Code of ethics

The MASILCO Construction Code of Conduct outlines expected behaviors for all MASILCO  employees. MASILCO  will conduct its business fairly, impartially, in an ethical and proper manner, and in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In the conduct of your business, integrity is underlined in all relationships within your company. Including between customers, suppliers, communities and employees. The highest standards of ethical business conduct are required of MASILCO  employees in the performance of their company responsibilities. If employees do not engage in conduct or activity, they may question the integrity, impartiality, or reputation of the company or otherwise embarrass the company.

Employees will ensure that:

-They do not engage in any activity that may create a conflict of interest for the company or for themselves personally.

– They do not leverage their MASILCO status to gain personal benefits through improper use of MASILCO or misuse of non-public information or their position. This includes not being involved in insider trading.

– They shall abide by all restrictions on the use and disclosure of information. This includes complying with all requirements for the security of MASILCO information and Ensuring that non-Masilco proprietary information is used and disclosed only as authorized by law by the owner of the information or otherwise at the behest of Sawamio.

– They believe that good behavior is the foundation of all our transactions and interactions.

– They will protect all company, customer and supplier assets and use them only for activities approved by the appropriate company.

– Without exception, they shall comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.- Without exception, they will comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
– They will report immediately any Illegal or unethical conduct for management or other        authorities (ie, ethics, law, security, EEO).

Each employee has the responsibility to ask questions, seek guidance and report suspected violations of this code of conduct. Retaliation against employees who come forward to question genuine concerns will not be tolerated at all.
